Luis Montoya

Luis E. Montoya, 77, a resident of Coyote passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Saturday, August 21st 2021.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Frank and Adela Montoya, siblings Agapito Montoya, Donaldo Montoya, Lucella Brommer, Frank Montoya. His in-laws Sabiniano and Angelina Lovato. His brother in-laws Jose Leon Ullibarri, Clarence Romero, Jose Chacon, Dan Brommer. Sister in-law Clara Balderama. Luis enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family. He loved his family very much. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beautiful wife of 56 years, Maria Adelia Montoya. His children Loretta Ramirez (Max), Louie Montoya (Nancy), Olivar Montoya (Stephanie). Grand children Carlos Ramirez, Manuel Ramirez, Maria Madrid (Rocky), Vivian Montoya (Anthony), David Montoya, Danielle Montoya. Great Grandchildren Damian, Olivia Ramirez, RJ, Andronica, Eliana (my baby) Madrid. Siblings Pres Montoya (Vangie), Juan Montoya (Chris), Celina Chacon, Clara Montoya, Emma Romero, Miguel Montoya (Rose), Angie Dominguez (David). His close nephew and niece Tony Montoya, Elaine Munoz and God daughter Norma Montoya. Numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

A rosary will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Mass will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at San Juan Bautista Church in Coyote, with a burial to follow at Coyote Catholic Cemetery.
