Lucy Michelle Salazar

With broken hearts we share that our beloved mother Lucy Michelle Salazar, 40, (well known as Michelle) of Española, NM, and formerly of Taos, NM, passed to eternal rest on Monday, May 27, 2024. 

Lucy was preceded in death by her mother Lucy Salazar; grandmother Sinforosa Salazar; grandfather Juan C. Salazar; sister Lousia Salazar, uncles Dennis Salazar and Johnny Salazar.

She is survived by her children Yesenia Salazar (Fabian), Mellisa Cruz-Salazar (Arturo), Ariel Cruz-Salazar (Eduardo); first granddaughter Lizdeth Michelle Cruz; sons Sergio, Enrique, Luciano, Javielle; her sisters Julie Salazar (Carlos), Annabelle, Marcy, Juanita Marin-Casillas, Jessica; aunts Virginia and Clara; many nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends. 

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Victory Faith Church located at 823 Angel Duran Drive, Espanola, NM. A meal to honor Lucy will follow at American Legion Hall, located at 314 Hunter Street Espanola.
