Lucy Lovato

Lucy Lovato, 85, of Espanola, New Mexico, went home to be with our dear Lord and Savior on December 25, 2021. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Ortega and Trinidad Maestas, husband Ben Lovato, son Nathan Lovato, daughters, Delilah Padilla and Sabrina Lovato, son-in-law Louis Ulibarri and grandsons Jacob Padilla, Andrew Ortega and Joey Valdez. She is survived by her many brothers and sisters, children, adopted children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her sons Emilio Ortega and David Lovato and her daughters Irene Ulibarri, Guadalupe Ortiz, Rose Crawford, and Darlene Ortiz. Her grandson Chris Herrera and wife Irene, granddaughter Enjelica Lovato and other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

A public viewing will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, January 24, 2022, at the De Vargas Funeral Home in Espanola, with a memorial service on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at the Valley Bible Baptist Church located at 56 Arroyo Seco Circle in Espanola. Burial to follow at San Jose Mission Catholic Church Cemetery in Hernandez, New Mexico.
