Lucille Martinez

Lucille E. Martinez, 64, resident of Hernandez, NM, passed away on December 30, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her son Leon Martinez, parents Audelio and Aggie Trujillo and many other relatives.

Lucille will always be remembered by her loving smile and her loving ways.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and adored her family emencely.  She enjoyed her grandchildren and her time outdoors.

She is survived by her companion Eddie Lovato, daughter Erica Martinez (Kevin); stepdaughters Maxine Lovato (Bill) and Samantha Lovato (Josh); stepson Harvey Arrellano (Naberta); daughter-in-law Shannon Martinez; brothers Orlando Trujillo (Charlene), Audelio Trujillo Jr. (Lorraine) and Ernest Trujillo (Angela); brother-in-law Felimon Lovato; grandchildren Jordan Sanchez, Jazlynn Martinez, Leondro Garcia, Shawn Alarid, Nicole Bejarano, Faith Smith and Aubrey Smith; great grandchildren Lyle Garcia and Avery Garcia; uncle Roy Romero; aunt Barbara Trujillo; Goddaughters Amanda Trujillo and Freida Martinez; and many other nieces, nephews and relatives.

A public visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 6:00 pm, with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at the DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM.  Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, NM.  Burial will follow immediately after at Los Llanitos Cemetery in Truchas, NM.

Serving as Pallbearers are Kevin Martinez, Steven Trujillo, Rocky Trujillo, Orlando Trujillo Jr., Felimon Lovato and Isaac Trujillo.
