Lucille Maria Cordova, age 62, of Chamita, New Mexico, passed away on May 16, 2026 after a short courageous battle with cancer. A beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Lucille was born October 11, 1963, in Embudo, New Mexico to Jose Trinidad Cordova, Jr and the late Ercilia Lopez.

Lucille was born the third child of 5 and is preceded in death by her mother, Ercilia Lopez, her brother Ruben Cordova and her son Cesar Cordova.

She is survived by her father Jose Trinidad Cordova Jr., Son Gabriel Roybal, Grandson Cesar Fernandez, Brothers Herman Cordova (Eleanor), and Orlando Cordova (Diane) and one sister Rita Cordova Garcia (Michael) and many nieces and nephews.

Lucille was a kind, quiet, independent and hard-working woman who dedicated many years of her career to Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Document Control employee, where she made many dear friends that she spoke kindly of daily. While at home she enjoyed her beautiful flowers in her well cared for yard that she loved. She also dabbled in arts and crafts, and sewing. Her sense of creativity was amazing. She will be deeply missed.
