Loyola M Jacquez

Loyola M. Jacquez, 82, a former resident of Gallina, NM, passed on November 20, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eduardo Lujan and Juanita Martinez, husband Frank Jacquez, son Richard Jacquez, and sisters Florinda Jacquez and Eduvijinia Martinez. 

Loyola is survived by her children: Margie (David) Gomez, Maria (and the late Russell Hill), Margaret Brinkerhoff, SirJane Jacquez, Arnold (Lynn) Jacquez, Zachary (Holly) Jacquez, sisters Pat (Keith) Robinson, Alisia (Robert) Christensen, brother Elmer Lujan, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, numerous godchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. 

Rosary will be held at Nuestra Senora De Guadalupe Catholic Church in Gallina, NM, at 3:00 pm on December 1, 2024. Catholic mass will be the following day on December 2, 2024, at 10 am, with burial to follow at the Gallina Cemetery. Reception at the church reception hall in Gallina. 

Serving as pallbearers: David Gomez, Marvin Lujan, Kenny Martinez, Zachary Jacquez, and Richard & Nickolas Ortiz. Honorary Pallbearers: Faustin, Andy, David and Glen Martinez, Amador & Jerome Jacquez, Alexander Thomas, and two special nieces Annie Martinez and Tracy Salazar. 

The family of Loyola Jacquez has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home and Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
