With broken hearts we share that Lonnie B. Martinez (Suka), age 48, a resident of Chimayo originally of Cordova, passed to eternal rest on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, David Martinez; maternal grandparents, Juan and Adelina Trujillo; paternal grandparents, Fidel and Emilia Martinez; aunt, Bertha Sandoval; uncles, Roberto and Genaro Trujillo; close cousin, Ronnie Romero. He is survived by his son, Adam Martinez (Vanessa); grandchildren, Huntar, Gunner, Dallas and Kendall Martinez, all of Cordova; mother of his son, Ardy Sanchez (Jessie) Lexi; his mother, Lucille Romero; stepfather, Juan Romero; sisters, Claudette (Arturo) Delgaldo (Arturo Jr) and Daniela (Manuel) Camacho; niece; Amber(Jose), and her children Josie and Jose; nephews, Ambrose (Jacqulyn), Ambrose Jr; special aunt, Louie (Tony) Vigil as well as many other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Holy Family Parish in Chimayo with a rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Cemetery in Cordova with the following serving the family as pallbearers; Benito Jr., Benito Martinez Sr., Amber Castaneda, Ambrose Manzanares, Arturo Delgaldo and James Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family of Lonnie B.
