Loretta M. Salazar passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2025. Born at Presbyterian Hospital, Espanola, NM, July 24th, 1980.

She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence A. Salazar and her son Jerome Chavez.

Loretta is survived by her three sons, Adrian Chavez, Joshua Chavez, & Joseph Martinez; mother Mary Ann Martinez; sister Florence (Lita) Cisneros; brother Lorenzo (Patricia) Salazar; niece Jennifer (Tino) Martinez; nephew Jesse Jr. (Megan) Olivas; grandsons Ayden Chavez, Raiden Chavez; nephews & niece Eric, Rodney, Christine and Neto.

She was a beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Loretta was a very loving, caring kindhearted woman and loved to laugh. Her smile would light up a room. She loved diamond art crafts, little green frogs, and spending time with friends and family. Our family is deeply saddened at her passing and will miss her greatly. We want to thank numerous family and friends who loved and supported our dear Loretta.
