Lionel Garcia Sr., 76, a resident of Chimayo, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 surrounded by his loving family and friends. Lionel was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Garcia; father, Ismael Garcia; sisters, Elisa Garcia, Josephine and Serafin Roybal and brother, Gilbert Garcia Sr. Mr. Garcia is survived by his children, Tommy (Angela), Santo (Stephanie), Martina (Mark), Lionel Jr. (Louise), Michael, Felipe, Liza (Pete), and Andrew (Veronica); 3 special grandsons whom he raised, Aaron, Adrian, and Antonio; special friend Leonires Chavez and all his special grandchildren. A rosary will be recited on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory.
