Levi Gallegos, age 43, a resident of El Guache, NM, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Levi loved his boys and family with all his heart. He would give his shirt off his back for anyone he loved and cherished. He loved helping and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed camping, cruising in the mountains, and fishing. His favorite toys were his Banshee and 66 Impala.

Levi will be remembered for his smile, his laughter, his big heart, and witty personality.

Levi was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents Delfin and Viriginia Garcia, Paternal grandparents Ray and Gloria Gallegos, Sister Reina Martinez, Godfather and uncle Richard Garcia, Aunt Dorene Mondragon, Uncle Larry Maestas, and Cousin Fabian Velarde.

Levi is survived by his mother Karen Gallegos, Sons Marcus and Joshua Gallegos, Sister Janice (Husband Fernando) Loera, Brother Joel Martinez, Goddaughter and Niece Janae Martinez, Fur Baby Daisy, Aunties Sandra Maestas, Cathy Martinez (Tony), Diane (husband Jackie) Gallegos, Godmother and Aunt Cindy Garcia, Uncle Dale Garcia, Close Cousin Leo Maestas, Mother of his sons Danielle Martinez and Companion Janeen Vigil.

A Rosary will take place at DeVargas Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. and a Mass at San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez, NM on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. and burial to follow at San Jose Catholic Cemetery. 

Pallbearers Leo Maestas, Marcus Gallegos, Joshua Gallegos, Fernando Loera, Orlando Garcia and Dale Garcia.

Honorary Pallbearers include his beloved cousins and dear friends who brought him great joy.
