Leroy - Age 67 - El Guique Casados

LEROY R. CASADOS, 67, a lifelong resident of El Guique, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 following a lengthy illness. He was surrounded by his beloved and loving family during his passing. They saw to his health, welfare, happiness, and spiritual health. Leroy had a strong love for his family and friends. He retired from the Zia Company in Los Alamos in 2000 after 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adelaida and Augustine Edmonds; brother, Steve Edmonds; nephew, Julian Gonzales and niece, Christina Guillen. Mr. Casados is survived by his sisters, Pat and Tom Sisneros of Cuyamungue, Bev and Lee Gonzales of El Guique and Maxine and Richard Guillen of Alcalde; sister-in-law, Eileen Edmonds of Ohkay Owingeh; special nephews whom he loved dearly, Nicholas Gonzales and Carlos Sisneros; special friends, Floyd and Finnie Romero, Miguel and Erma Chavez, Voudie and Sally Ortega, Cheo and Yolanda Trujillo and Juan and Rosina Archuleta and numerous other relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh with burial to follow at San Rafael Catholic Cemetery.
