Lenny - Age 23 - Santa Fe - Carreño

LENNY GENE CARREÑO, 23, a resident of El Rancho, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 2, 2011. Lenny worked at Capital City Cabs where he loved being a mechanic. He had a passion for creating art and with that tattoo artistry; He was musically inclined with the ability to play 5 different instruments. Mr. Carreño is survived by his paternal grandparents who raised him, Ignacio and Annabelle Carreño of El Rancho; mother, Georgia Morgan and husband Billy of Santa Fe; father, Leonard Gene Carreño Sr. and companion Star; brother, Lucas Carreño and companion Melissa all of El Rancho; maternal grandmother, Rommie Ortiz of Santa Fe and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque. Burial to follow at the El Rancho Catholic Cemetery. The family of Lenny Gene Carreño has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
