Larry "Tiny" Gibbons

LARRY BRENT “TINY” GIBBONS, 67, a resident of White Rock, born on April 28, 1951, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019.  Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and La Rue Gibbons.  Larry was a resident of Los Alamos county since 1963.  He was employed with the Los Alamos National Labs for many years. He was also involved in the Los Alamos Little Theater and did wedding photography on the side. Larry was a 1970 graduate of Los Alamos High School and then went on to attend college at Dixie college in St. George UT and was a graduate of Brighman Young University. Larry is survived by his sister, LaDawn Bushnell and husband Cleve of Kanab, UT, brothers, Bill Butner and wife Wendy of Rio Rancho, Jesse Scott Gibbons of Rio Rancho, and Dennis Bradford Gibbons of Los Alamos, and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in White Rock with a Funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. The family of Larry Brent “Tiny” Gibbons has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
