Kimberly Seciwa

Kimberly June (Martinez) Seciwa, passed away at Phelps Hospital in Rolla, MO, on July 31, 2021 from Covid at the age of 34.  Kimberly was born on May 8, 1987 in Santa Fe, NM. She graduated from Española Valley High School in 2005 and went to earn an Associates of Science in General Studies and Water Treatment at Santa Fe Community College in 2017. Kimberly worked at Amazon as a Whole Foods Shopper and was a Military Housewife.

Kimberly was a light of kindness in a world full of hate. If you could describe Kimberly, she was a child at heart, who loved her husband and family dearly. She loved to live a private lifestyle.

Kimberly is predeceased by her grandmother Phyllis Coriz, grandmother Claudina Martinez, grandfather Louis Coriz, grandfather Benceslado Martinez, Aunt Tammy Coriz, Uncle Stephen Martinez and Uncle Wences Martinez.

Kimberly is survived by her loving husband Joshua (Josh) Seciwa of 11 years and their pets Rufus, T-Rex, Isabella and Wendy. Kimberly and Joshua were married in Santa Fe, NM on July 28, 2017.

She is survived by her Parents Alonzo Martinez and Louise Coriz of Medanales,NM, sister Phyllis Martinez of Dallas, TX, Sister Clarissa Martinez of Medanales, NM, Brother Dominic Coriz of Medanales, NM, Brother Ferrell Coriz of Albuquerque, NM.  Mother-in-law April Seciwa of Zuni, NM, Father-in-law Anthony (Tony) Seciwa of Zuni, NM , Sister-in-law Michelle Seciwa, Sister-in-Law Alicia Seciwa and Nephew Arius (Ari) Seciwa from Zuni, NM, Aunt Deanna Tenoro of Bernalillo, NM, Uncle Clyde Martinez and Aunt Lorena Martinez of Rio Chama, NM, A very close Friend of the Family Vicente Trujillo of Chimayo, NM and many cousins and relatives whom she loved.

A Rosary will be recited  by Michael and Delores Vigil at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, August 7, 2021, and Sunday, August 8, 2021, at 7:00 PM.

The Mass of Christian Burial  for Kimberly June (Martinez) Seciwa will be held at San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez, NM on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 12:30 PM with Father Dominic officiating. The burial to follow at San Jose Cemetery in Hernandez, NM with the following serving as Pallbearers: Clyde Martinez, Adelaido Martinez, Dominic Coriz, Ferrell Coriz, Dwayne Martinez, Leonard Tenorio and Jarrod Tenoro.

Honorary Pallbearers: AdaLynn Vigil, Janelle Vigil and Arius (Ari) Seciwa.
