With hearts heavy and broken, we announce that Keoma A. Baca (29) passed away unexpectedly in Aurora, CO on June 1, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

Keoma, was born Keoma A. Romero in Vail, CO in October of 1994 to her amazing parents Michael and Nicole Romero, and her two older siblings, Joseph Garcia, and Natasha Romero. She grew up in Pecos, Pojoaque, and El Valle, NM and was currently residing in Aurora for the past year as her youngest child was born with a heart condition that required critical medical support provided in Aurora and Denver. Keoma first became a mom at the age of 24 to a beautiful daughter. In 2021 Keoma met her husband Alfred Baca, together they bore two more beautiful children, a daughter and son.

Keoma had such an incredible soul, a beautiful, bubbly personality, and a smile and laugh that lit up a room and her family’s whole world. Her favorite pastime was being with her family, taking pictures, listening to music, doing her makeup, and shopping. Keoma always put her children first and spent her days dancing, playing, and reading to them, and teaching them about God. Prior to becoming a mom, Keoma was an amazing auntie to her nieces and nephew and loved them like her own children.

Keoma is survived by her husband Alfred Baca, her three children Aisha (5), Arabella (2), and Alfred (1); her parents Michael and Nicole Romero of El Valle, NM; her brother Joseph Garcia (Crystal) of Ojo Sarco, NM; sister Natasha Romero of Santa Barbara, NM; her nieces Norlette Garcia, Carmen Gonzales, and nephew Angelo Garcia; her grandmothers Gen Garcia and Jane Romero; uncles Felix Romero, Dan Garcia (Lisa) of San Diego, CA, Tim Garcia (Shevaun) of Craig, CO, Jesus Garcia (Shelly) of Las Vegas, NM, John Garcia (Deb) of Espanola, NM, aunt Gina Hernandez (Tony) of Las Vegas, NV; aunt Victoria Romero; her father and mother-in-law Tim and Doreen Baca of Avon, CO; sisters-in-law Briana Armstrong (Jashawn) and Sabrina Baca; nephew Cervante and niece Caprice Armstrong;  best friend Hannah Vigil, and so many cousins, great uncles and aunts, and other relatives and friends who she loved, and who loved her endlessly.

Keoma was proceeded in death by her great grandmother Mary Fresquez, grandfathers Felix Romero and Benny Garcia; and her beloved unborn child Christopher Solares who sat amongst her Lord and savior Jesus Chris and many other loved ones in heaven. She leaves behind many broken hearts but so much love and memories. She will be forever and dearly missed.
