Keith Duran

Keith Aaron Duran (29), born to the Redhouse Clan for Hispanic. Maternal Grandfather is a Big Water Clan and Paternal grandfather is San Ildefonso Pueblo. We are sad to announce the passing of Keith on August 7, 2022.  He rejoined his loved ones who preceded him in death, his great grandparents Fabian and Frances Montano, Grandparents Alvin and Sue Duran, Sisters Kisha Pino and Anastasia Duran. Uncles Thomas Pino, Aaron Duran, and Ronnie Martinez.

A resident of Pojoaque, he graduated Pojoaque High School in 2013.  He went on to obtain his cosmetology license but found his passion working in the hospitality field for Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder, where he was presently employed and had recently been offered a promotion.

Keith was a loving and caring son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle and friend.  He leaves behind many broken-hearted family members, friends and his beloved “baby”, his chihuahua Benji.

He is survived by his mother Marlana Thomas; father, Leonard Pino (Andrea); Grandparents Davis and Theresa Thomas and Verna Tishie.  His sisters Jaed Pino (John Moya), Raylynn Pino (Christopher Gipson), and Annaleya Martinez-Pino.  His brothers Alex Duran, Adam Duran Jr, and Zypher Pino. His nieces Mya Love Moya, Malani Promise Gipson, Lilah Rani Duran.  He is also survived by many family members from the Thomas, Pino, Montano and Duran families.

Pallbearers are Leonard Pino, Dexter Thomas, Alex Duran, John Moya, Christopher Gipson, Lionel Smith, Tony Dayzie

Honorary pallbearers are Jaed Pino, Raylynn Pino, Annaleya Martinez-Pino, Zypher Pino, and Adam Duran Jr

Service will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the DeVargas Funeral Home, 623 N Railroad Ave, Espanola, NM.  Burial will follow at the Pojoaque Cemetery with reception to follow at Leonard Pino/Montano residence.
