Karlos Antonio Sanchez

He was called home on May 1, 2026, at the age of 42. He was born in Albuq He is preceded in Death by his Father, Keith E. Sanchez, grandparents, Franklin “Frankie” and Carolina Sanchez (Espanola), Cousins, Erick Sanchez (Espanola) and Kyle Cole (. Grandparents, Samuel and Alice Maestas, Aunt Mary Ann Maestas, Uncle, Sam Maestas Jr, Stanley Maestas, Andrew Maestas (Albuquerque) and many more family members.

Karlos will be remembered for his kind and gently spirit. Those that new him best might say, that he also had a fire in vocalizing his opinions. He lived a simple life, he loved his family, his sister Holly Sanchez, as well as his nephews, Carlitos and Angel Sanchez. His nephews were his pride and joy. And of course, he loved his mother dearly, Georgia Sanchez with all his heart. He lived a simple life. Hobbies, were camping, barbequing, gaming, he was an avid 49er fan, an excellent cook, he was a considerate, kind and patient man, most of the time. He loved his cats like his dad. He had a keen feeling for choosing the most special friends. I appreciate you all.

He was loved and cherished and will be dearly missed by his immediate family, the Sanchez and the Maestas that words cannot express.

A Viewing will be held on Wednesday May 13, 2026, at 9:30 am at  DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial service will also be held on Wednesday May 13, 2026, at 10:30 with a burial to follow at the Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde, NM
