Julia Adan Lara, 60, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was born in Gallina, NM on December 16, 1950. Julia lived in Santa Fe until the age of 16, then moved to Coyote, then later to Grand Junction, CO. She lived in Grand Junction for the last 40 years, was well-known in the community, and in Northern New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her son, Phillip (Flaco) Madrid. Juila is survived by her beloved children: Dean Madrid, Michael Madrid, Pablo Adan, Maria (Nena) Adan Lara and Daniel Madrid; grandchildren: Monica, Garrett, Francisco, Pablito, Vincent, Zeke, Phillip and Mahayla; great-grandchildren, Daniel Jr. and Lexi; and numerous other relatives and friends.
