Judyth "Judy" Garcia

Judyth "Judy" M. Garcia, born August 6, 1941, passed away on September 1, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM, surrounded by her loving family.

Judy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She shared nearly 25 years of marriage with her husband, Joe L Garcia, making their home in Nambé. During her time there, she embraced the culture, built lasting friendships, and became a cherished part of the community. Together, Judy and her husband ran two successful businesses: a smoke shop and a home-based biscochito business, where Judy lovingly baked thousands of cookies.

Her deep faith guided every part of her life. Judy was known for her constant prayers for her family, friends, and community, and she often reminded those around her of God’s presence through both words and actions. She was deeply involved in her church and Senior Center, always generous with her time and gifts to those in need. Every year on October 4th, she delighted in welcoming visitors to her home and serving meals on Feast Day.

Judy’s kindness, faith, and hospitality touched countless lives. She will be remembered as a true friend and will be profoundly missed by her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

May she rest in eternal peace and her memory be a blessing.
