Juan (Johnny) Martinez

Juan A. “Johnny” Martinez , 66, born October 9, 1953, passed away on November 26, 2019, due to a sudden illness. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Candido Martinez; brother, Derrick Martinez; sister, Julia Czerwonka; maternal grandparents, Roman and Julianna Martinez; paternal grandparents, Celestino and Delfina Martinez; step-grandmother, Martha Martinez; aunt, Lorraine Satler, uncle, Patrick Martinez; cousins, Cameron Martinez and Timmy Montoya. He is survived by his daughter, Maria Angelique Coca and son, Juan ‘Juanito” Martinez II; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson; His mother, Betty Norris (Randy); sisters, JoLynn Stout (Rick), Nora Casaus (Jerry) and Carmen Martinez; uncles, Roman (Lupe), Michael (Rita), Seferino and Robert (Patricia); aunts, Julia Hills (Gerard), Sandra Hull (Larry), Lucille Martinez (Charles), Doris Griego (Mike), Helen Montoya (Louie), Angie Brennan, Clyde Martinez (Rosalind) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. The family of Juan A. “Johnny” Martinez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
