Juan Vigil

Juan Vigil, (68) of Nambe Pueblo was called home on February 7, 2023.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Jose and Grace Vigil. 

He is survived by his wife Hazel of 44 years, son Jonathan (Amanda), grandson Leandro, son Ricky; brothers Joe (Veronica), Donald, Wayne, and Art, sister Terri (Lloyd); in-laws, Andreita (Dan), Berlinda, James, Virgil, and Fabian; many nieces and nephews; and Compadres Amer and Sylvia. 

Juan was an avid hunter and fisherman.  If he wasn’t home, he would be at the lake or in the mountains.  If he was not at either of his favorite spots, he was with his wife at the casino.  He was known to many and touched everyone’s heart. He was quite the joker.  He could make anyone laugh and possibly get them in trouble.  One of his best friends was his grandson, Leandro.  Leandro was the light of his life and could make him do just about anything.  Juan loved life and lived it to the fullest.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
