Joseph Aragon, age 58, of Chamita, NM, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father Roman Aragon; brothers Eddie and David Aragon; grandparents Daniel and Apolonia Martinez; uncles Lorenzo and Vidal Aragon; aunt Helen Valencia; and Anita and Solomon Aragon.

He is survived by his mother Daisy Aragon; son Daniel Aragon; Daniel’s half-sisters Deedee and Crystal; uncle Daniel Martinez; niece Angelique Aragon; nephews Devin Aragon and David Aragon; close cousins Sally Borrego, Nettie Alarid, Angie Garcia and many other cousins and friends.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his beloved dog, Brownie.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on August 20, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh with a Milatary Burial at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:15 pm
