Joseph MacAndrew

Joseph Anthony MacAndrew, 50, a resident of Tierra Amarilla passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2018. Joseph was an amazing human being. He was a force of nature, beauty, and of will. The consummate artist, he forged profound and enduring relationships with the people (and sometimes animals) that he cared for; very much like he made metal and stone bend to his vision. His spirit was fierce and fiery, with an amazing sense of beauty and honor that touched all aspects of his life. His strength was inspiring. He survived cancer twice as well as several life-threatening situations. He did it in such a way as to place himself between those he loved and his pain. Never allowing it to make him bitter, or trouble his heart. Deeply spiritual and true to his artistic nature he recreated his reality for us to see and forged his own philosophy in which he found his own deeply personal connection with God. He is now at peace. He absence will be felt by all that knew him.
