Jose Cruz Age - 87 Rutheron Aguilar

Jose Cruz Aguilar, 87, a resident of Rutheron passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011. He was born on August 24, 1923. He served in the United States Air Force and was a World War II Veteran. Mr. Aguilar was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Floripe Mercure; brother, Donaciano Aguilar; identical twin brother, Miguel Aguilar; sons: David, Frederico, Martin and Daniel Aguilar. Mr. Aguilar is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Gregorita of Rutheron; daughters: Clara Blanco and husband Erasmo of Santa Fe, Elaine Soberanez and husband Baltazar of Grants, Rose Aguilar and companion Will Murch of Santa Fe, Jane Snelling and husband Mike of Rutheron, Mela Martinez and husband John of Santa Fe, MaryAnn Edwards and husband Anthony of Casa Grande, AZ; sister, Irene Mercure of Plaza Blanca; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous other loving nephews, nieces & godchildren. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos, NM with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos, NM with burial to follow at Tierra Amarilla Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Jeff Culin, Danny, Tomas and Freddy Aguilar, David and Cory Soberanez, Torrey Edwards and Joe Hayes; honorary pallbearers: Tony Edwards, Tom Hayes, Joshua Aguilar, Angela Argenziano, Estrella, Danielle, Amanda and Esperanza Martinez, Tynette Edwards, and Bianca Soberanez.
