Jose Silviano Trujillo

Jose Silviano Trujillo, also known as “Silver” age 85, of Medanales, NM, passed away on December 13, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents Alcario and Emma Trujillo, daughter Evelyn Trujillo, grandsons Jaime Ybarra and Donavan Molina, brothers Julian, Ernesto, Salvador, Tony, Rufino and Julian Trujillo.

He loved farming, fishing, hunting, watching wrestling and going to the “sierra” for firewood.  He worked for Duke City Lumber for 25 years.  He also liked to visit Colorado, as that was where he was born.

He is survived by his wife Librada “Libby” Trujillo, daughters Dorothy Trujillo and Rose Ybarra (Peter), sons Bernie Trujillo and wife Rose, Leonard Trujillo and wife Karen, Marvin Trujillo and wife Lena; great grandson Kaiden and great grand-daughter Serena who he raised; close grandson Max Martinez (Andrea) also raised by him.  Also surviving him are grandchildren Kimberly Lopez (Gabriel), Pamela Trujillo (Jeff), Mariah Trujillo, Shania Trujillo, Marina Trujillo, Ann Janette Trujillo, Crystal Guerra (Frank), Ernesto Ybarra (April) and Sylvia Molina; sisters Rufina Duran and Loyda Sisneros (Augustine); brothers Augustine Trujillo (Maria), Toby Trujillo (Marylou) and close nephew Julian Trujillo, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday December 23, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Sangre De Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM. Burial will follow immediatly after at The Medanales Cemetery in Medanales, NM.
