Jose Isaudro Salazar “Fish”

February 10, 1928 – November 29, 2021

Jose Isaudro Salazar (nicknamed “Fish” at the age of five) went to be with the Lord his maker on Monday, November 29, 2021. Fish was born in Pojoaque, New Mexico where he shared his love for family, ranching and hard work. He was a mentor to most and Smile Maker who was held in such high regard by his family and friends.  Fish will be missed tremendously by all who knew him.  Fish has left a lifetime impression of what Humor, Integrity, Morals and Self Worth looks like.

Fish will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 9:45 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
