Jose Rizo Jr.

Jose Estevan Rizo Jr., born December 9, 1977 in Espanola, New Mexico passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 4:00am in the morning at presbyterian hospital in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jose was married to Yvonne Marie Rizo of Chimayo, New Mexico, together for 6 years.

Jose is proceeded in death by his mother, Yvonne Villareal and stepson, Jesus Lopez; maternal grandparents, Ernestina Rivera Villareal, Cesario Villareal; uncle, Celestina Villareal and step-brother, Joseph Villareal.

Jose is survived by his father, Jose Estevan Rizo Sr., wife, four brothers and sisters. Crystal Villareal and son, Hubert Rizo (wife); kids, Angelica Rizo and Miguel Rizo; stepson, Jojo Romero ; five step grandkids; six children of his own, Faith Rizo and fiancé, Chino Rizo, Jose ‘Niggs’ Rizo, Margarita Rizo and daughter, Destiny, Dominic Cordova and Joshua Herrera.

The family wants to give thanks to all who have come together to lay my husband Jose Estevan Rizo Jr. to rest. Thank you and God bless you.

A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at St. Juan Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh, with a mass at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be held at Alcalde Cemetery.
