Jose Ricardo Garcia

Jose Ricardo Garcia, 76, of Llano de San Juan, NM, was born October 22, 1949, passed away suddenly on January 7, 2026.

Ricardo was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Leopoldo and Sofiria Arguello Garcia. His in-laws, Conrad and Elivina Valdez. His brothers, Roberto, Presciliano, Jose Alfonso, Elifido, and Jose I. Garcia. His sisters, Dulcinia Tafoya, Celia Sanchez, Edith Sanchez, and Eloisa Ortiz. Brother-in-laws, Raymond Valdez, Desidero Valdez and Gene Valdez.

Ricardo is survived by his wife of 56 years Frances Garcia, daughters Anna Garcia, Sofiria (Felix) Flores. His sons, Gene (Maria) Garcia, Jose Jr. Garcia. Grand-daughters, Andriana Flores, Christian (Chris) Cooke. His brothers, Arturo Garcia, Jerry (Josie) Garcia. His brother in laws, Ernie (Lorrie) Valdez, Joseph Valdez. His sister in laws, Mary Nogalas and Victoria Vasquez, and many dear nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers: Arlene Garcia, Gene Garcia, Jose Jr Garcia, William Garcia, Lorenzo Garcia, and Johnny Garcia 

A viewing will take place at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Penasco, NM on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. and a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. A Mass at 11:00 a.m. and burial to follow at Rio Chiquito Cemetery.
