Jose Garcia

JOSE AMADO GARCIA, 86, a resident of Medanales, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 following a heart attack due to cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Luisa Garcia; son, Eusebio Garcia; parents, Pedro and Beroniz Garcia and brothers, Audoro and Abelino Garcia. He was retired from the Sandia National Laboratory. Mr. Garcia is survived by his daughters, Pauline Garcia and companion John Reed and Mabel Perea all of Albuquerque; brothers and sisters, Theresa Trujillo and husband Armando of Medanales, Mary Salazar and husband William of El Guache, Eufelia Garcia and husband Pedro of California, Emilio Garcia and wife Martha, Rudolfo Garcia and wife Emily and Roy Garcia and wife Geri all of Albuquerque, Johnny Garcia and wife Lucy of Medanales and Delfin Garcia and wife Virginia of El Guache; sisters-in-law, Frances Garcia of Albuquerque and Pablita Garcia of Medanales; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at San Antonio Catholic Church in Medanales with a memorial Mass to be celebrated immediately after at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the San Antonio Catholic Cemetery in Medanales. The family of Jose Amado Garcia has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
