Jose Fred Lovato

d. May 11, 2022

Jose F. Lovato (Freddie) has been called upon by Jesus to visit his mom and dad, Federico and Celia, along with his relatives and friends that have been called before him. Freddie left us too young, at 69 years old, on May 11, 2022. He was from Espanola, but he called home anywhere his family and friends were; La Mesilla, Hernandez, Espanola, Galina, Coyote, Youngsville, and the many Northern New Mexico mountains and streams he loved. You could see the biggest smiles on his face when he was with his family, whether it was chasing and tickling us, making funny faces, showing us his dance moves, sitting around a campfire, pulling a native trout out of the stream, going for wood, or just impressing us with his newly rebuilt engine. As long as he was with his family, he was happy, he loved us. We will deeply miss him.

Freddie also had many friends he considered family. He retired after 23 years as a mechanic for Los Alamos County and the friends he gained there were very special to him, he loved them and considered them family. He enjoyed working as a mechanic but the best part was laughing with his friends.

Missing Freddie’s laughter, smiles and his gentle soul are:

Children: Chris Lovato (grandkids – Marisol, Zoe, Reece), Lorenzo Lovato (Kristy) (grandkids – Andres, Anika, Kylee), and Tiffany Lovato (grandkids – Estrella, Lina, David).

Family and Friends: Along with the numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and wonderful friends.
