Jose Espinoza

Jose Benjamin Espinoza was born unto this world March 15, 1927,  born unto Christ September 3, 2022, at the age of 95 years.

Mr. Espinoza is survived by his wife of 73 years Genevieve (Genoveva) of the family home.  Also surviving him are his three daughters and their families, Lucy Maestas and husband Frank (Cisco), Carmen Quintana and husband Steve, and Judy Garcia and husband Xavier. Grandchildren: Derick Quintana, Monica Maestas Fulgenzi (Garon), Antonio (AJ) Maestas (Monique), Xavier Garcia 2nd, (Julianna), and Xacarias (Xac) Garcia (Patty). Great-Grandchildren:  Keanna Quintana (Edward), Marissa Maestas, Leandro Maestas, Faith Garcia, Xavier Garcia 3rd, Zoey Garcia, Xander Garcia, Joseph Garcia and Lilianna Garcia. Great-Great Granddaughter:  Kamille Hope Quintana.

Mr. Espinoza served his country proudly while in the United States Army, and had been a member of the Espanola American Legion, Post 17 for the past 50 years.

Mr. Espinoza, outlived two brothers and four sisters, the last surviving child born unto Claudio Espinoza and Manuelita Zamora.

The family would like to thank New Mexico PRES Hospice, especially Lillianna, ChaCha, Rosie and Estrella. Thank you for the many prayers that were offered during his illness along with the many phone calls and words of encouragement.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, with a rosary at 10:00 am followed by mass at 11:00 am at Santa Cruz de la Canada Catholic Church.  Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
