Jose Montoya

Jose Eluid Montoya From Truchas, NM passed away peacefully on Thursday March 10, 2022 in Las Vegas Nevada.

Eluid was born on November 2nd, 1943 to Eduvigen and Casimiro Montoya.  He graduated from McCurdy High School.  After

Graduation he went to Las Vegas Nevada where he worked at the Nevada Test Site for 35 Years as a Union Ironworker for

Local 433.

Eluid is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Bernadine, children Tammy (George) Rogers, Theresa Montoya, Randy Montoya, One Granddaughter Gia Rogers, Sister Anita Lancaster, sister in law Lou Montoya and many Nieces and Nephews.

A Rosary will begin Saturday March 26th at 10:00am.  Mass Immediately following at 11:00am at the Holy Family Church in Chimayo New Mexico.  Burial will follow at Los Llanitos cemetary in Truchas New Mexico.  Reception following at Baptist Church in Truchas, New Mexico

Pallbeareres will be Tommy Martinez, Earl Montoya, Nick Sandoval, Allen Romero, Richard Montoya and Eli Lopez
