Johnny Martinez

Johnny R Martinez, 58, of Chimayo, NM, was called by our lord on February 13, 2024, Surrounded by family after a hard-fought battle with cancer. 

Johnny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was so filled with life and always willing to give a helping hand. He adored his grandchildren very much. Johnny enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife and friends. As many may know Johnny was a jack of all trades but mostly enjoyed his paint and body work. 

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents Orlando and Orlinda Martinez; maternal grandparents Antonio and Gregoria Martinez; paternal grandparents Sabino Martinez and Celestina Salazar – Martinez; sons Evan and Jaron Martinez; uncles Louie, Gerson and Gilberto Martinez (Olga); aunts Lorraine and Lucresia Martinez; sister-in-law Clarissa Ramirez; niece Angel Ramirez; cousins Benjie, Renee, Donna, Anthony, Janae Martinez and Tomas Moya; grandson Saint Dominguez; mother-in-law Edna Dominguez and father-in­ law Richard Dominguez.

Johnny is survived by his wife Andrea Dominguez; and his two precious fur babies lsbella and Brandy Martinez who are considered his daughters other furbabies; Rocky and Baby Martinez; sons Javon Martinez (Tamara), Austin and Ambros Dominguez;  daughter Angel Trujillo, (David); brothers Jesse Martinez (Elena), Tomas "DeeDee" (Jolyn) Ramirez; brother-in-law Richard Dominguez Jr.(La Crista); nephew raised like his own son Antonio Ramirez; niece raised like his own daughter Antionette Ramirez (Dario) Godparents; Michelle and Andres Vigil Grandchildren; Jayven, Evan, Earl, Azariah "Chucky", Missie Martinez and Ethan Hands; Serenity, Kristopher, De'Angelo, DeAndre, Devon, and James Dominguez, and Unborn Grandbaby which Johnny was very proud to meet. Nephews and Nieces; Edward(Sydney) Jared(Rebecca) Angel Moya, Ayraelle, Noah Godson; Andres Ramirez, Uncle; Pula Martinez (Eva) Aunt; Rosina Martinez-Padilla, Very Close cousins; Benita Montoya(Jesse) and Elsie Reynolds, Close Cousins; Brenda, Wendy and Lennar of Albq. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Zion Church in Pojoaque, NM, at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow at La Puebla Catholic Cemetery.
