John John Naranjo

John John Naranjo, 35, of Espanola, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Andy Vigil, parental grandparents Pete and Carmen Naranjo and Felimon and Annie Sandoval.

John was a devoted fiancé, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, Godfather, uncle, nephew, cousin, and loyal friend. John enjoyed life to fullest. He enjoyed spending his time with his family, being out in the mountains, riding the RZR, attending lowrider shows with his Barela and Atencio brothers. Everyone knew him as being the jokester of the family. He always found a way to put a smile on your face and make you laugh. John enjoyed eating his sweets. The one thing everyone will miss him for is his big teddy bear hugs and kisses. 

John is survived by his parents Darren and Cecilia Sandoval and John Naranjo and partner Ruth; Fiancé Daniella; his four children Devyn, Leandra, Anaiyah and Analia; God-daughters Alyanna and Avyanna; siblings Amanda, Kandice (Josh), Ashley (Anthony), Alysha, Michael, Scott, Chris, Theresa, Chantelle, Darren Johnny, Amanda (Jeremiah), Monica, Leroy, and Andrew; maternal grandparents Mela and Des; Nino’s and Nina’s: Lawrence and Anna Mae Fresquez and Jeremey and Melanie Sandoval; in- laws Christina and Daniel; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 7:00 pm at the Santa Cruz Catholic Church. A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Victory Faith in Espanola, NM, with burial will follow at the Santa Cruz Cemetery. 

Pallbearers: Leroy, Anthony, Josh, Andrew, Jeremiah, Junior, Michael, and Alyana.

Honorary Pallbearers: daughters Devyn, Leandra, Anaiyah and Analia; his sisters Amanda, Ashley, Alysha, Kandice, Theresa, Chantelle, Amanda and Monica; brother Chris Naranjo; nephew Jeramiah; God-brothers Ryan and Isaac Fresquez.
