JOHN DANIEL DOUGHARTY (DAN), 59, a resident of Española for 25 years, born on August 14, 1957 in Clovis, New Mexico to Bernard and Margaret Dougharty (Vaughter), a New Mexico native passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. John received his GED from High school and was a US Army Veteran. He was employed by Eight Northern Indian Pueblos as Warehouse manager for the Food Distribution program on Indian Pueblos. (FDPIR). John is survived by his wife of 23 years, Christine; daughter, Kayla Martinez (Karen); brothers, Phil, Houston (Kimberly), sister, Bonnie; nieces, Kristina and Allie, nephews, Fen and Sean. A remembrance of John’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Española Valley Animal shelter. “You were our Rock Star” Rock on Forever.
