John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

JOHN DICKSON (JED) , 43 a resident of Truchas passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2021 due to an automobile accident.

Jed was a loving father, son, husband, brother, and friend. He was a family man and family always came first.  He was a humble and caring man who had a heart of gold that touched everyone’s lives. At a young age, Jed was able to prosper the unity of one with his best friend Roxanne, where two hearts beat as one and two souls became one. Together they had 2 beautiful children. His first-born Kiana was daddy's little girl, together they would paint the world with her magic wand, he was so supportive, Kiana always softened her dad's heart.  Jed knew the man he was meant to be when his son Rocky was born. No love is greater than that of a son. Rocky looked up to a great man he called daddy. Jed was so proud of his little Rocky.

Jed was a hardworking man with family values. He built a beautiful home for his three sweethearts Roxanne, Kiana and Rocky, and he did not stop there, he built a home for his lovely mother, Sheila Miller, then moved on to help his two beautiful sisters, Sasha and Michele. When Jed wasn’t working, he loved to relax and travel with his family.

Jeds generous soul was always doing a good deed, he lost his life trying to save his mother's life, he has earned his wings to Heaven. Jed’s love won’t go away, he will walk beside us everyday, whether unseen or unheard his love will always carry on. Jed’s wings were free to fly but our hearts were not. We love you and miss you Jed.
