John C. Barber Jr.

John C. Barber Jr., age 59, born on August 19, 1964, of Santa Cruz, NM, passed away on January 31, 2024.

John is preceded in death by his mother Rosana Salazar, his uncles Paul Salazar, Richard Espinoza, and Manuel Garcia Jr., cousins Johnny Quintana, Kenny Vaughn, Isabell Jacquez, Donna Quintana and Maria Martinez.

John is survived by his father John C. Barber Sr., children Joanna Rodriguez, John Barber III, Estrellita Barber, Consuelo Barber, Beliah Spinx, Nevaeh Martinez, and Elijah Espinoza, sisters Juanita Salazar and companion Daniel Calanche, Jeanette Barber Prada and husband Angelo Prada, grandchildren Damian Rodriguez, Dante Rodriguez, and Jaydn Rodriguez.

John loved all of his sisters, children, grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and not to mention all his cousins. To every one of you, John had a unique place in his heart for you.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday February 7,  2024, at DeVargas Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Truth Ministries Calvary Chapel in Arroyo Seco, NM,  at 11:00 am.
