With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Joel Andrade, who departed life on October 28, 2026, at the age of 72.

Joel was born on February 16, 1954 to Antonio Andrade Orozco and Elena Orozco Mendez in Las Crucitas, Guanajuato, MX. He was the second oldest to seven children. Joel was a loving husband, father, pampo, brother, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Andrade Orozco and Elena Orozco Mendez, his son, Fernando and siblings, Adelaida and Maria Guadalupe.

He survived by his wife, Betty; daughter Labriana, son-in-law Joe Belmontes, daughter-in-law, Carol Andrade; grandchildren Savannah (Juan), Joshua (Deja), great-grandchildren, MavisRose and Luciano Belmontes; sisters Yolanda, Benita, Maria Eugenia (Jose Alfredo) and brother Abelardo and many nieces, nephews, godchildren and half siblings.

Joel will forever be remembered for his many years of hard work, dedication, and service across the many career paths he pursued. He built a life around what mattered most to him, his family and the legacy he leaves behind is a true reflection of his devotion as a husband, father and pampo. He understood the value of hard work, sacrifice and helping others. The values he instilled in his family will continue to live on through them for generations to come.

Joel had a deep passion for baseball, as he was a proud Dodger fan. Whether it was his favorite blue Dodger attire or his unwavering team spirit, he always found a way to show his love for the Dodgers. Memories will always include sitting with him around the tv watching baseball.

He will be deeply loved, greatly missed, and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy he built will live forever through his family and everyone whose life he touched.
