Joe C. Age - 63 Serrano

Joe C. Serrano, 63, was born in Santo Niño, NM on April 16, 1949 and went on to be with his Lord and Savior on February 24, 2013, Joe was sociable, well liked and loved by many. Everywhere he went, he left a lasting impression on a new friend. He enjoyed fishing and loved to dance. He loved going to church and served God the “best he could.” He read his Word daily as well as his “Daily bread.” He truly loved the Lord. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Eduvigen Serrano; mother , Teresina Serrano; brother, Chris Serrano; sister, Velma Serrano; daughter, Angelica Serrano; nephew, Jason Lopez. Joe is survived by the mother of his children, Esther Serrano; daughters: Annette Vigil and Andrea Serrano; sisters: Tita Estrada and companion Moises, Cynthia Maestas and companion Benjie, Geraldine Lopez and husband James; brother, Andy Serrano and companion Margaret. He had seven granddaughters, nine grandsons and four great-grandchildren, 18 nieces & nephews and many great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends. He had two sets of Pastors and is now healed from all infirmities! Thank God! Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at El Buen Pastor Church in Ranchitos. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Freddie Duran, Loretta Salazar, Angelo Maestas, Louie Arguello, James Lopez, Stevie Quintana, Benjie Duran and Derrick Serrano. The family of Joe C. Serrano have entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
