In the final months of his life, Joe’s wife and children never left his side. Together they made sure that Joe was well taken care of and comfortable while being surrounded by love.
Joe will be remembered for his love of fast cars and racing in the streets when he was young. He was an outgoing man and loved to spark up conversations with anyone he came in contact with. Joe was always willing to help anyone that needed it – his neighbors, family and friends. He would go around the valley helping his family and neighbors level property, til their land for gardens and clear snow in his tractor. He was a jokester with a big kind heart. He enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and the cooking shows, and we would always tease him, asking what he was going to cook for us. Joe will be missed deeply by those who loved him.
The family would like to thank Joe’s nurse Samantha Cardenas, Dr. Charles Maestas, Dr. Pacheo and Esther R.N, and R.N. Deborah Caswell and Roxanne and Ralph Apodaca and Lianne Torres from Trusting for the wonderful care that they provided for Joe over the past ten years.
