Joe Daniel Romero

We the family with great sadness share the unexpected passing of Joe Daniel Romero on September 16, 2022 in Cordova, NM.

Joe Daniel was born on September 10, 1956 to Desiderio and Elena Romero in Gilman, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents Desiderio and Elena, brothers, Uvaldo and Bianes Romero, sister Donna Romero.

He is survived by his daughter, Ramoncita Cuevas, his son, 4 grand children and 2 great grandchildren, brothers, Leroy (Tamar), Modesto, and Juan (Rosa), Sisters, Martina (Elizardo), Virginia (John), and Mary (Orlando), Sister-in-law, Erlinda Romero, numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and numerous extended family and friends.

Daniel suffered with his physical disability for 37 years, but was always in great spirits.  He made friends easily and was always joking around.  His laugh was something else.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

MAY HE REST IN PEACE, IN GOD’S CARE. FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS!!!

Memorial Service will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 8, 2022 in the Sangre de Christo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home.
