Jay was a proud Marine and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He gladly served our country and was awarded a Purple Heart and honors during that conflict. He was always the one person you could count on to help no matter the situation. He was a skilled welder, fabricator, mechanic, builder and most of all a cattle rancher. Jay loved the outdoors, especially the family ranch and seemed to never stop working on one thing or another. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
