Jo Ann - Age 79 - Santa Fe - Smith

JO ANN SMITH, 79, a resident of Pojoaque, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 following a brief illness. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, James W. Smith of Pojoaque; children, Jamie Chancey and husband Jerry of Houston, Texas and Jana Chapman and husband John of El Rancho; grandchildren, Jessica Chancey of Houston, Texas and Joshua Chapman of El Rancho and sister, Paula Riemenschneider and husband J.W. of Arkansas; cousin, Mark Hamilton and wife Sandy of Los Alamos and numerous friends and relatives. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jo Ann’s memory can be made to Vista Care Hospice located at 1911 5th Street Suite 100, Santa Fe, NM 87505. The family of Jo Ann Smith has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
