Jill Romero, was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, mother, wife, grandmother and long time resident of the Espanola Valley. 

She spent many years enjoying her work as a physical therapist, loved helping people and took pride in the work she did. Jill enjoyed spending time with friends, family and her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the river, fishing, and cooking with her family and grandchildren most of all. 

She was preceded in death by her mother Irma Fernandez, late husband Jesse James Romero, and granddaughter Hailey Grace. 

She is survived by her father Joe Fernandez, husband of four years Jeremy Ortiz, children Arryana Valdez, Grace Valdez and Dylan Valdez, nephews Jordan Fernandez, Ezariah Fernandez, Jayce Fernandez, granddaughters Aliyah Martinez and Amari Hersom, brother Joe Pete Fernandez, sister Pam Avalos, nephews Joey Fernandez , Adrian Fernandez, and niece Danika Fernandez.
