Jeffrey A. Pacheco, age 39, of Alcalde, NM, passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2026.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his beloved father, Roland Pacheco, grandfather Joaquin Pacheco, grandmother Loren Pacheco, aunt Molly Trujillo and aunt Jackie Pacheco Ciskowski.

Jeffrey was also a proud uncle to his only nephew, Ethan, who brought him so much joy, and he was eagerly awaiting the arrival of another nephew on the way.

Jeffrey lived life with a free spirit and a heart full of passion. He had a deep love for skateboarding — it wasn’t just a hobby, it was a part of who he was. Whether riding through life’s highs or navigating its challenges, Jeffrey carried a unique energy, unforgettable laugh, a deep connection with the word of the Lord, and a soul that left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

Jeffrey’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him. Though his time here was far too short, his memory will continue to live on in every skateboard ride, every shared laugh, every cherished story, and in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will carry his memory forever: his mother, Wanda Valdez and stepfather, Mark Valdez; his sister, Nakeisha Chavez and brother-in-law, Justin Chavez; his beloved grandparents, LeRoy and Ruby Ortiz whom he loved deeply; several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives were touched by his presence.

He will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and never forgotten.

A private service will be held at a later date.
