Jeffrey Noel Gallegos, beloved son, brother, and uncle, was born on December 19, 1970, in Los Alamos, New Mexico. He departed this life on January 4, 2026.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Jose Federico Gallegos; brother, David Gallegos; nephews, Aaron Lynch Jr., and Patrick Gallegos Jr; and numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

He is survived by his mother, Nora Gallegos; brothers, Isaac Gallegos and Patrick Gallegos Sr.; sisters, Brenda (Rohan) Lowe and Darlene Gallegos; nephews, Christian Lowe and Adrian De LaO; nieces, Erica (George) Lopez, Adrianna (Dennis) Lynch, Destiny Lynch, Angel Garcia, Julie Gallegos, and Jaelynn Gallegos, numerous relatives, and his beloved pets, Templeton and Penny.

Jeffrey was a very talented and creative person. His many hobbies included cooking, wine-making, soap-making, and rock collecting. He also loved Art and had plans to open a gallery for the numerous paintings he had collected over the years.

Aside from his artistic side, Jeffrey was an adventurer at heart. He loved to explore and camp out in the mountain wilderness of Northern New Mexico. His dream was to travel the country in a camper.

Jeffrey had a very keen and philosophical mind. He was self taught in the field of Astronomy and was quite knowledgeable in many areas of Science. His favorite hobby was to watch the stars at night through a telescope.

He was a very faithful, spiritual, and kind person who cared deeply about social injustices and the less fortunate. His acts of kindness included making a plate every Thanksgiving Day for his neighbor, a disabled veteran. He also cared for his elderly parents for many years.

Jeffrey often spoke about death as merely a transition, a part of the cycle of life...a beginning, not a finality. He believed that one day, we would be reunited with our loved ones. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

A Private Viewing was held on January 26, 2026, at Devargas Funeral Home in Espanola, New Mexico. Burial followed at San Jose Cemetery in Hernandez, New Mexico.

Serving as Pallbearers were Isaac Gallegos, Rohan Lowe, Christian Lowe, Dennis De LaO, Adrianna Lynch, Adrian De LaO, and Michael Pacheco.
