Janelle Salazar

Janelle L Salazar, age 43, was born August 29, 1981, in Albuquerque, NM, and passed away on July 17, 2025, from a lengthy illness with her family by her side.

Janelle was preceded in death by her partner Antonio Trujillo; parents Steve & Priscilla Martinez; grandparents Alfonso Sr Martinez and Antonio & Lucy Salazar; uncles Christopher & Danny Martinez, Walter & Antonio Salazar, Julian Trujillo, Steve Lucero and Tomas Jaramillo; brothers-in-law Jimmy Martinez and Teddy Pacheco.

She is survived by her children Jasmine, Anthony, Amanda Naranjo, Alexis Rodriguez and Adrianna Salazar; grandparents Joseph & Lora Gallegos; sisters Anna (Pat}, Stephanie Martinez and Jeanette Salazar (Twin); many nieces and nephews Annjenesse, Angel, Shannon, Shantel, Nathaniel ,LillyAnna, Rylan and Magenta; special aunt's (Tias) Connie & Norma Marquez, aunt's and uncles Alfonso & Lee Paul Martinez, Poncho, & Johnny Salazar, Carmen Trujillo, Martha Martinez, Dolores Jaramillo, Johann Lucero, Rebecca (Felipe) Trujillo and Michael (Angelica) Salazar. 

We would like to "Thank" Sky Facility Staff & Resistance of Rio Rancho for their help in caring for Janelle, family and friends who have reached out to us.

Janelle will be greatly be missed.

A Rosary will be recited at 10:15 am on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church at Ohkay Owingeh, NM, with Mass to follow at 10:45 am.  Burial will take place at La Villita Cemetery in Alcalde, NM.
