Isabelle Lorraine - Age - 74 - Ranchitos - Baca

Isabelle Lorraine Baca, 74, a resident of Ranchitos passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. She was a state employee in her early years and also worked in retail for the TG&Y/ McCory Company. She was an excellent cook, especially her tortillas & beans. She raised her grandchildren & great-grandchildren just like they were her own. Isabelle was a caretaker to her uncle Pete Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Rose Madrid; sons: John and Melvin Baca; husband, Juan Baca; granddaughters: Nichole and Elizabeth Romero. Isabelle is survived by her daughters: Jacque Ladach and husband Mike of White rock, Theresa and husband Manuel Tafoya of Taos, Shelley Baca and companion Jesus of Ranchitos and Cindy Baca of Ranchitos; step-son, Toby Baca of Arizona; grandchildren: Mike Torrez and wife April of La Mesilla, Chris Romero of Española, James Romero and wife Janice Medina of Taos, Julian Romero of Santa Fe and Amanda Valdez of Ranchitos; great-grandchildren: Aamon, Avery and Diego Torrez, Christian, Lawrence and Gabriel Romero, Brandon Romero; numerous other loving relatives & friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 7:30 at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada. Interment to take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. with the following serving as pallbearers: Chris Romero, James Romero, Julian Romero, Mike Torrez, Manuel Tafoya and Jesus Ortiz; honorary pallbearers: Amanda Valdez and Avery, Aamon and Diego Torrez, Christian, Lawrence, Gabriel and Brandon Romero.
