Isaac Morfin Jr.

ISAAC MORFIN JR, 27, a resident of Chili passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Isaac is preceded in death by his sister, Angel; father, Isaac Sr.; step-father, Amos Duran; grandparents, Seferino and Marcelina Serrano, grandfather, Joe Jaramillo, great-grandparents, Manuel and Selida Morfin, Saiz and Ermalinda Trujillo and Fermin Morfin.

Isaac also known as Junior had a heart of Gold, a smile that could make every one around him feel happy just by his presence. He was sure to let everyone that he loved dearly know it. His heart was pure. He loved to hang out with his friends and family. He loved being out doors, hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a graduate from Victory Christian Academy. Isaac’s most precious gift in life was his precious son, Joseph.

Isaac is survived by his mother, Gidget Garcia; sister, Ashley Morfin (Joshua Padilla); son, Joseph Morfin; mother of his son, Adrianna Martinez,; girlfriend, Monique Garcia; half siblings, Jason, Daniel and Esperanza Morfin, and step brother and sister, Michelle and Joshua Duran; grandparents, Annie Jaramillo, James Garcia (Cleo), Robert and Nancy Martinez; aunts, Louise Marruffo (Charles), April Garcia (Angel), Anna Jaramillo (Jordan) and Andrea Serrano, James Garcia Jr. (Star), Helen Morfin (Jonathan), Priscilla Serrano (Fidel), Vanessa Martinez (Daniel) and Vidal Martinez; great aunts,  Ella, Linda, Jane, Susie, and Yvonne Serrano; niece and nephew, Aryah, and Isaiah; special auntie Edwina Romero (Johnny); special family friend, Theresa Ortiz; Nino and Nina Darrol and Melinda Miera and many other cousins, friends and loved ones. Serving the family as Pallbearers Charles Marrufo, Christopher Marquez, Darren and Jacob Vigil, Fidel Jr. Serrano, James Montoya, and Isaiah Rojas. Honorary pallbearers will be Darryl Miera, and Roman Martinez.

A devotional service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021  at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Faith Church in Espanola, with a burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
