Isaac Jacob Archuleta, age 62, a resident of El Rancho, passed away on July 8, 2021. Isaac had a heart of gold, he took it upon himself to show kindness to the elderly in the community by calling and checking to see if they were doing ok. Isaac loved the Lord and loved singing Christian hymns. He loved to tease and joke around with his brothers and sisters, especially during the holidays. Isaac loved animals and would feed all the dogs in the neighborhood.

Isaac was preceded in death by his parents, Armando and Celia Archuleta; brother, Robert Rivera; niece, Stephanie Castañeda and nephew, Randy Roybal. He is survived by brothers, Andy Rivera, Herminio Archuleta, Pete Archuleta (Delilah) and Joe Archuleta; sisters, Clara Espinoza, Isabel Ball (Gerald), Jennie Gonzales, Amelia Roybal (Henry), Martha Mejia (Juan), Annie Castañeda (Gerald), Lucy Rios (Robert) and many nieces and nephews.

Isaac (Iky) was dearly loved by all know knew him and is going to be deeply missed.

Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a Funeral Service to follow at the New Beginnings Church in El Rancho at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the El Rancho Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are his nephews, Michael Espinoza, Henry Roybal Patrick Archuleta, Jason Rios, Armando Archuleta, John Mejia, Gerald Castañeda and Daniel Roybal. Honorary pallbearers are all his nieces and nephews.

The family of Isaac Jacob Archuleta has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley. 505-747-7477
